A Plan Projects

Following a period of intensive work managing projects for T1+2 Gallery / Hive, I founded A Plan Projects, www.aplanprojects.com, in 2010.

A Fine Art graduate, my curatorial practice is in many ways an extension of my work as an artist. I follow the lines of my interests and investigation, bringing together different works and artists to create new dialogues and meanings. I am constantly on the look out for new and exciting venues, collaborators and opportunities.

Through ‘A Plan’ I aim to curate projects which are largely driven by their location and context. Bringing together recent graduates and emerging artists to create and support opportunities for making new works. With a focus on contemporary work with high production values and historical, narrative or research driven content, (rather then that which is principally to do with form or art making).

My most recent project was a collaborative venture which invited 20 artists to make new works for the vaults of an incredible burnt out mansion in Epping Forest. Lighting and arranging the vast space, to accommodate small curated selections of site specific and site inspired works.

In October A Plan Projects is participating in the Sluice Art Fair, sluiceartfair.com, an exciting new platform for emerging programmes.
